Wide Skies

wide skies although i'm
always followed by doubt
i walk through beautiful fields
of late night and early morning dew

where have I been?
waiting slowing
widows hearing
gentle tongues of extremity

all around me
extremity and deceit

I will explain blue eyes as mighty
shocks through fields of men

and murky
I drink the scene
